Join us on Sunday, April 28, 2013, 4-9 pm at the Grand Café/Sir Pizza, 201 E. Grand River Ave., Lansing for the annual MICA Old Town Stomp party, saluting the wonderful volunteers and sponsors who make free community events like JazzFest possible.
“Our volunteers are the heart of MICA, and every volunteer and sponsor is deeply committed to the future of the Old Town neighborhood,” said Terry Terry, board president for the Michigan Institute for Contemporary Art. “We’re proud to kick off the festival season with this annual event showing our appreciation for them.”
The Old Town Stomp starts the festival season with music from the Jazz Doggs and Sunny Wilkinson, a party and the presentation of the ii:V:I Community Turnaround Awards (held at 5 pm).
$10 donation at the door. 2012 festival volunteers attend free. All proceeds will enhance the Lansing JazzFest, Michigan Mosaic Music Festival and Old Town BluesFest.
