Rudner played around with various stringed instruments before settling on the double bass. He has a playful style with a strong jazz foundation gained as a student with MSU Jazz Studies, where he is currently a Master’s student. He performs with a variety of ensembles, and you can expect great things at his Lansing JazzFest, MICA Stage appearance.
