The Lowdown Brass Band (LDB), hailing from Chicago, Illinois, is a horn-driven tour de force. From street beat to metal, the LDB showcases their unique high-energy style on their latest release “Lowdown Sounds”. The LDB’s latest release highlights their version of the R&B classic “Everybody Loves the Sunshine” featuring soul legend himself Roy Ayers.
The LDB breaks the barrier between audience and performer with their live show, which features dynamic vocals, Rapper Billa Camp , and body movement that gets any wallflower up and on their feet.
Rapper Billa Camp is inspired by Hip Hop, Rock, and Skate culture and creates music based upon his hybrid lifestyle. Mixing East Coast Hip Hop with Rock and Reggae, Billa prides himself on real individuality and brings the fire every time!
Lowdown Brass Band has performed at some of the premier venues and festivals in Chicago, United States, and the globe including: The Metro, Double Door, Lincoln Hall, House of Blues, City Winery, Promontory, Hideout, Andy’s Jazz Club, Cliff Bells, Taste of Chicago, Wakarusa, Meijer Gardens, Logan Square Boulevard Bash, Gleenwood Arts Festival, Chicago Craft Beer Festival, Summer Solstice Festival, Founders Fest, Guiness Oyster Fest, and the Cotai Jazz and Blues Festival to name a few!
